William "Bill" Strange II Obituary

William “Bill” Perry Strange II., 72, of Poplar Bluff, MO, formerly of Williamsville, MO, passed away Sunday, March, 31, 2024. He was born in Aurora, IL, June 18, 1951, to parents Willam Perry Strange Sr. and Patsy Mae (Jones) Rodgers.

Bill enjoyed listening to music, especially old rock ‘n roll. He was an iron worker and welder by trade. He was self-employed. Bill loved to play the lottery. He was very popular in the community and never met a stranger.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his sister: Susan Conrad.

Bill is survived by his mother; children: Patricia Thornburgh and husband Ted of Poplar Bluff, James Strange and wife Jenifer of Poplar Bluff, William “Billy” Strange III and wife Rebecca of Poplar Bluff, Robin Strange of Williamsville; stepson: John Francisco and wife Daina of Poplar Bluff; grandchildren: Ted Thornburgh Jr. and wife Larissa of Arnold, Jordan Thornburgh and wife Brittany of Ellsinore, Darian Strange of Poplar Bluff, Louci Strange Poplar Bluff, Cierra Francisco of Poplar Bluff, Cidney Francisco of Poplar Bluff, Kailyn Cammarata of St. Louis, Morgan Ward of St. Louis, Colton Ward and wife Jenna of Barnhart, Rayann Strange of Poplar Bluff, Jessie Kelsoe of Piedmont, Robert Strange of Williamsville; eleven great-grandchildren; brothers: John Strange of Williamsville, James Strange of FL, Curtis Strange of FL; sisters: Vickie Papparlardo of FL, Yvonne Varhalla of AR. Bill will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
