Darin W Gentles

Darin William Gentles, 58, of Piedmont, MO, passed away Monday, April 8, 2024, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. He was born in St. Louis, MO, on May 25, 1965, to parents Dalpha William and Hazel (Darden) Gentles.

Darin was a loving and caring father, brother, uncle, and friend. He graduated from Clearwater High School. He worked at Brown Shoe company for a few years and was a custodian for many years at Clearwater School District. Darin had a love for vehicles. He usually did not keep any one vehicle for a long period of time, he would either sell it or trade it for a different vehicle.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Darin is survived by his son: Jacob Gentles and wife Jordan of Corpus Christi, TX; grandchildren: Aubree Gentles and Tianna Yancey; brothers: Alan Gentles and wife Earlene of Farmington, Danny Gentles and wife Debby of Puxico; nieces: Danelle Sanders and husband Don, Rebecca Smith and husband Stacey, Amanda Moroney and husband Danny, Abbigale Gentles and Levi, Charolette Moroney; nephews: Hunter Stafford, Haden Stafford, Luke Eubanks, Lane Smith, William Moroney, Matthew Gentles, Xander Bell, Landyn Gentles. Darin will be greatly missed by his family and friends

Visitation was held at 11:00 am, Friday, April 12, 2024, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont Chapel. Funeral services followed at 2:00 pm, also in the Piedmont Chapel. Pastor Richard Sanders ministered to the family. Alan Gentles, Danny Gentles, Ray Darden, Matthew Gentles, Dale Robertson, Andy Robertson, Hayden Stafford, Hunter Stafford, and Stacey Smith served as pallbearers.
