Patricia Ann Westmoreland, 74, of Patterson, MO, passed away Monday, February 25, 2019, at her residence. She was the loving wife of Leonard. Patricia was born on January 2, 1945, in St. Louis, MO, to Robert and Ann Mathilda (Levandowski) Hunt. She was raised in St. Louis, and attended and graduated from high school there. She was so proud to be one of the first graduates in her family. At the age of six, she sold St. Louis Post Dispatches on Cherokee before and after school. When she was only twelve, she made the acquaintance of Leonard Westmoreland through family connections. There was an immediate and deep connection to each other. She knew that they would marry, and at eighteen they were united in marriage and shared many wonderful years together. Before moving to Piedmont, Patsy and Leonard worked many years in St. Louis. She was a dedicated bookkeeper for the auto dealerships of Dave Sinclair and later Frank Bommarito. After they moved to Patterson she was co-owner of Leonard’s Park Road and Pat’s One Stop. She was known as being occasionally hard-headed, but more importantly, dedicated, confident, loyal, kind and just a classy lady. If she ever told you anything, she did it. During their retirement years, Patricia and Leonard shared many happy times living in Florida. Patsy began a new chapter in her life at this time. New friends were a big part of this and together they shared many happy times, exercising, yard sales, riding bikes, playing cards, attending church and enjoying an active life. She was of the Christian faith.
Patricia is survived by her loving husband Leonard, of the home; loving children: Carey Handy and husband Jeff of Piedmont, MO; Toni Metcalf and husband Malcolm of North Dakota; grandchildren: Kohlton, Kaidynce, Kash and Kase; brothers: Bobby Hunt and wife Sherri and Ronnie Radford, all of St. Louis, MO; sisters, Jeanette Russell, Rae Jean Simon and husband Walter and Nancy Kline and husband Joe all of St. Louis, MO; along with many nieces and nephews.
