Donna Jean Fisher, 77, of Piedmont, MO, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019, at her residence. She was born on July 9, 1941, in Piedmont to William Everett and Grace (Durham) Carter. Donna grew up in Piedmont. She enjoyed fishing in her younger years and worked at O’Dell Laundry. Donna was blessed with one son. She loved to stay active by coloring intense, graphic pictures and working puzzles. Donna was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Troy Dean Fisher; brothers: Norman, Richard, and Everett Carter; sisters: Joyce Bell, Betty Jo Carter, and Virginia Bartch. Donna is survived by her daughter-in-law, Nanette Fisher, of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren: James Dean Fisher and Kristen Fisher, both of Jacksonville, FL; brothers: George Carter and his wife, Kay, of House Springs, MO; Robert “Bob” Carter and wife, JoAnn, of Piedmont, MO; niece, Sue Biddle and husband, Walt, of Salt Lake City, UT. Donna will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Visitation was held Saturday, January 26, 2019, from 12:30-2:00 pm, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont, MO. Services followed at 2:00 pm also at the Piedmont chapel. Pastor Tadd Kruithoff ministered to the family. Cremation followed the services. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com.
