Obituary for Barbara Miller

Barbara  Miller
Barbara E Miller, 77, of Piedmont, MO, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Poplar Bluff Medical Center. She was born November 3, 1940 to parents Raymond and Nellie (Millmaker) Aldrich, who taught her and her siblings to enjoy every day to the fullest.

Barb grew up and attended school in Patterson, MO. In 1956 Barb and Ed Montgomery were married and blessed with four children whom she enjoyed very much as well as her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She drove a school bus for Rockwood school district for many years and loved every moment, worked at Chrysler in Fenton, MO as well as other jobs. She also loved fishing and camping with her grandchildren. June 27, 1981, she married Charles Miller Sr. and her family grew to ten step children and more grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one daughter: Bridgett Montgomery; son-in-law: Terry Magill; granddaughter: Jackie Montgomery; brother: Tommy Aldrich and sister: Dorothy Booker.

Barb is survived by husband Charles Miller Sr. of thirty-six years; children: Jack Montgomery and wife Karen of Dittmer, MO, Monica Magill of Venice, FL, Carla Reese and husband Terry of Banson, MO; Jamie Burgess and husband Ty of Gideon, MO; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother Jesse Aldrich and wife Sandy of Kansas City, MO and one sister Sue Nelson and husband Larry of Flemington, MO.
Visitation was at 4:00 pm, Saturday, May 19, 2018, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont chapel. Memorial service followed at 5:00 pm also at the chapel. Pastor Richard Sanders ministered to the family. Burial followed at Little Lake Cemetery, near Patterson, MO. Online condolences can be made at
