Robert "Bob" Carroll Kimes

Robert “Bob” Carroll Kimes, 67, of Piedmont, MO, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024, at John J. Pershing VA Medical Center, Poplar Bluff, MO. He was born in Fort Ord, CA, August 6, 1956, to parents Louis E. and Carolyn C. (Martin) Kimes.

Bob was a loving brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for ten years. He worked at Brown Shoe Company for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and being outdoors. Bob was a Harley-Davidson enthusiast.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother: Ronald Kimes; sister: Roberta Kimes.

Bob is survived by his children: Robbie Kimes, Bryan Kimes, Amanda Wilson; several grandchildren; brother: Roy Kimes; sister: Rita Berry; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Bob will be greatly missed by his family and friends.  

A graveside memorial was held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, March 24, 2024, at Mt. View Cemetery, Des Arc, with full military honors provided by the United States Airforce and American Legion Post 281 of Piedmont. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
