John Thomas Rhoden

John Rhoden, 83, of Piedmont, MO, passed away, Saturday, March 9, 2024, at his residence. He was born in Silva, MO, February 6, 1941, to parents Nicholas and Veda (Clubb) Rhoden.

John was a loving brother, uncle, and friend. He was a tree trimer for Townsend Tree Service for close to fourteen years. He also worked for Libla pallet mill for several years. John enjoyed hunting, fishing, listening to Hank Williams, watching Andy Griffith and spending time with family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers: Winford, Emmett, and Billy Rhoden; sisters: Pansy Powell and Martha Prouty.

John is survived by his brother: Russell Rhoden; sister: Linda Powell; many nieces, nephews, and friends. John will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Visitation was held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont Chapel. Funeral service followed at 2:00 pm, also in the Piedmont Chapel. Bro. Rusty Rhoden ministered to the family. Ashten Allen, Paul Allen, Johnny Dale Weston, William Johnson, Eugene Broster, and Jaden Allen served as pallbearers.
