Clyde Eugene Mosier, 84, of Willis, MI, formerly of Williamsville, MO, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at his residence. He was born in Williamsville, MO, January 8, 1940, to parents John Vere and Bertha Kathleen (Bilbrey) Mosier.
Clyde was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He was foreman at Great Lakes Steel for many years. Clyde was an avid sportsman. He loved the St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Chiefs. He enjoyed baseball, football, NasCar and was very passionate about golf. Clyde enjoyed the outdoors and was groundskeeper at the Piedmont Canyon Club and Duncan Cemetery for several years. Clyde loved to spend time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers: Clive and Charles Mosier; sister: Donna Jean Mosier.
Clyde is survived by his children: Rebecca Wise, Rex Mosier and wife Judy of Flint, MI, Clyde Mosier Jr. and wife Linda of Willis, MI; grandchildren: David Mosier and wife Brianna, Joshua Wise, Lynsey Wynne and husband Mike, Tiffany Giuricici and husband Goran, Breanna Mosier; great-grandchildren: Peyton Mosier, Luke Mosier, Ethan Wynne, Charlie Wynne, Jettson Giuricici; brothers: Ron Mosier and wife Nanci of Kansas City, MO, Gary Mosier and wife Janice of Tulsa, OK, sister-in-law: Barbara Mosier; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Clyde will be greatly missed.
Visitation was held at 6:00 pm, Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont Chapel. Funeral service was held at 1:00 pm, Monday, also in the Piedmont Chapel. Rev. Don Dennis and Rev. Ronnie Mosier ministered to the family. Ron Mosier and Gary Mosier both gave a heartfelt eulogy. David Mosier, Joshua Wise, Goran Giuricici, Chuck Ivey, Mike Wynne, and Gary Shearrer served as pallbearers. Burial followed in Duncan Cemetery, Williamsville, MO.
