Linda "Nin" Miller
Linda Lou "Nin" Miller (White), age 57, of Piedmont, MO, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018, at her residence.
She was born on April 24, 1961, in Omaha, NE, to Charles W. Miller, Sr., and DeLoris Maxine (Benge) Miller. She grew up in Nebraska and graduated from Fort Calhoun High School. She has lived in the Piedmont area for many years and raised her family here. In the past, she worked as a housekeeper. She was a member of Victory Baptist Temple in Piedmont. Linda enjoyed camping, spending time with her family, and fishing. She was the backbone of the family and a loving provider. She was an extremely easy going and awesome lady. She filled the variety of her roles in life with grace and will be missed by many.
She is survived by her companion of fifteen years, Rick White; two daughters, Laura Osburn of Piedmont and Crystal Shafer and husband Bobby Jr. of Patterson, MO; and one special grandson, Corbin Osburn; her father, Charles W. Miller Sr. of Piedmont; brothers: Larry Miller, Sr., of Cole Camp, MO, Charles “Bounce” Miller Jr. of Piedmont, and Victor Miller, Sr., and wife, Mindy, of Piedmont; sisters, Joan Lloyd of Millsboro, DE, Jan Mittelstaedt and husband Roy Sr of Pierce, NE, Joyce Ricks of Poplar Bluff, MO, Bertha Killpatrick and husband, Perry, of Kansas City, MO, Violet “Annette” Burns and husband, Timothy, of Lincoln, NE; step brothers and sisters: Jack Montgomery and wife, Karen, of Dittmer, MO, Monica Magill of Venice, FL, Carla Reese and husband, Terry, of Banson, MO.
She was preceded in death by her mother, DeLoris Miller; one sister, Cheri Slavens; step-mother, Barbara Miller; and step-sister Bridgette Montgomery.
Visitation was held Wednesday, September 12, 2018, from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon at Victory Baptist Temple near Piedmont. Services followed at noon also at the church. Pastor Robert Randolph ministered to the family. Victor Miller Jr., Chance Ricks, Christian Ricks, Kara Miller, David Cooper and Charles Wilkins served as pallbearers.
