Gene Craig, 91, of Piedmont, MO, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Clark's Mountain Nursing Center, Piedmont, MO. He was born in Pascola, MO, to parents Emery and Myrtle (Cook) Craig.
Gene was married to Pauline (King) Craig until her passing in 1969. November 9, 1973 he married Linda (Lingenfelter), until her passing on January 19, 2017. He proudly served our country in the United States Army during WWII. A machinist at Caterpillar, Gene enjoyed inventing different things. He was a gun collector and was passionate about reading and had a love for wild life.
In addition to his parents, Gene in preceded in death by sons: Michael Bruce Craig, Dewight David Craig, and Kevin Duane Craig; Daughter: Jewel Paulette Blagg; brothers: Harold, Norbert, Norman, and Stanley Craig; Sister Mildred Hall.
He is survived by Son: Donald Allen Craig of Green Bay, WI; daughters: Janet (Kevin) Schull of Danvers, IL, Marsha (James) Rippon of Fulton, IL, Sharon Craig of Bloomington, IL, Karen (Tom) Pentz of Winston-Salem, NC, and Gail Hull of Clinton, IA; brother: John Craig of St. Louis, MO; sisters: Inez (Gene) Doba of Houston, TX, Ruth (John) Anderson of Las Vegas, NY, Dorothy (Jerry) Lutz of Millstat, IL and Eileen Moore of Alton, IL; many grand children, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
