Betty Loraine Barker, 77, of St. Louis Missouri originally from Fredericktown, Missouri, peacefully passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018.
Betty was born June 12, 1940 in Fredericktown, Missouri to parents, Eugene (Bud) and Netta (Britton) McCall.
Betty was a 1958 graduate of Fredericktown High School.
On October 25, 1958 she was united in marriage to Robert (Bob) Barker in Fredericktown, Missouri. To this union two children were born.
Betty became a Christian at a young age and attended Southside Assembly of God and Twin Rivers Worship Center, both in the St. Louis area.
She was a loving wife, mom, grandma, and great grandma.
She enjoyed being a homemaker, baking, hiking, gardening, crafting, and being with family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) Barker, and sister, Anna Mae Stepp.
She is survived by children Darrell Barker and wife Carol of Farmington Missouri, Mitchell Barker and wife Becky of Fenton Missouri, and Cheryl Dekker and husband Kent of Memphis Tennessee; by grandchildren Katie Barker, Allyson Melum, and John Dekker; by great grandchildren Alaina Melum and Lee Melum; by brother Eugene "Sonny" McCall and wife Darlene of Florida; and by sisters Naomi Blair of Licking Missouri, and Juanita Whayne and husband Lacey of Wentzville Missouri. Visitation was held Saturday, April 14, 2018, from 12:00 until funeral time at 2:00 pm, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont, MO. Bro. Eugene "Sonny" McCall ministered to the family. Lacey Whayne, Larry Ward, Jimmy Ward, Brent Tinnin, John Dekker and Dennis Recktenwald served as pallbearers. Burial followed at Coldwater Methodist Cemetery.
