Condolence From: Shannon Garner
Condolence: I was so saddened to hear of Mr. Jackson's passing. He was my History teacher at Advance my Junior and Senior years of school. After he left Advance, I lost touch with him for many years. I was walking into a test to get my Superintendent's certification and who is sitting in there but Mr. Jackson. I knew him immediately and he knew me. Fortunately I got to see him several times the last few years with both of us being school administrators. He was a big influence on my life and going into the education field. My condolences to his family. He was a great person and will be missed.

Condolence: I was saddened to hear the news of Mr. Jackson's passing. He was my favorite teacher in high school at East Carter. I have a feeling he never knew the impact he had on his students. He was the toughest, but taught the best lessons on history, government and life in general. He showed us the importance of discipline and responsibility, along with respect and kindness. Students lost a great role model, but I have a feeling Heaven gained a great man. Prayers are going up for friends and family.
