Obituary for Dora Freyermuth (Clemons)

Dora Freyermuth (Clemons)
Dora R. Freyermuth, 86, of Silva, MO, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at Shangri-La Rehabilitation and Living Center in Blue Springs, MO. She was born October 6, 1930, to the late John Clemons and Ruby (Metheny) Clemons in Cass County, MO.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Freyermuth; two brothers, John Thomas Clemons and Joe William Clemons; and one sister, Mary Lou Alonzo.
She is survived by one brother, Jesse Morton Clemons of Stratford, CT; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and friends.
Dora worked as a Registered Nurse for many years. She served as a loyal pastor's wife and a missionary to boys and girls with the Joy Club Youth Ministries. She was a member of the Evangel Baptist Church at Silva, MO. She was a loving aunt and a caring friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Visitation was held Saturday, August 5, 2017, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Ruegg Funeral Home in Greenville. Funeral services followed at 11:00 am at the Greenville Chapel. Tributes were given by Rev. Steven Little, President, Baptist Church Planters, Ken Moon, Administrator, Missionary Acres and Robin Purtle niece of Dora, read by Pastor Hunsberger. The message was delivered by Pastor Hunsberger. Bruce Purtle, David Alonzo, Ken Moon, Rev. Mark Hunsberger, Ed Waldon, Alex Ruegg and David Davis served as pallbearers.
